Just before night falls on 14th July 1940 Rescue Launch 127 leads the small flotilla into The Channel en route to the rendezvous point where the commando troop will transfer into the launches from their destroyer.
Night has fallen and the launches beach in Telegraph Bay. D Sub-section debark from Rescue Launch 130: Wingnut is in the water up to his chest, Robbie is still on board above him.
D Sub-section moves south towards Jerbourg Point.
Robbie discovers that the suspected enemy position is unoccupied.
